NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHED TO
HELP COACHES

A new site for Club Coaches has been launched.

The homepage gives details on what members receive when they sign-up, plus there’s full
information on the people behind this exciting project.

Members of the site have access to simple, downloadable coaching plans, each focussing on
different key aspects of the game. These session plans will be released each week and will cover all
areas of player development. All coaches need to do to give their players fresh, effective training
sessions from warm-up to warm-down is to print off each plan and take to the field.

The site also features a community section where members can share information, along with
hints and tips to help them develop their own and their team’s performance.

Portsmouth manager Paul Hart is leading their team of experts, he says: “We've selected some of the
best people in football to help our members develop as coaches and to give the best knowledge to
the players of the future. Our members have access to all our experts so they can tap-in to their wealth of football knowledge - it's like having your own personal backroom team.”

PARK PAVILLION

Whilst the club and the Parish council welcome use of the pavilion and its facilities please note
that they must be booked for your use in advance. The changing rooms are included with any pitch
booking but the pavilion itself needs to be reserved through Vanessa Kit.
Please ensure if you intend to use the pavilion itself that you have booked beforehand.

Under no circumstances should anyone not conversant with the correct procedures for
using the pavilion alarm attempt to do so. If you are in any doubt please contact
Graham Spencer.

 

NEW CLUB KIT

The new Club Kit is now available to order. To view the new design, click on 'ClubKit'

Please note that the correct kit for all players in all age groups is an ORANGE SHIRT, PLAIN BLACK SHORTS and PLAIN BLACK SOCKS or the new official club kit if it has been purchased by the team.
The management committee is dismayed at the number of players turning out in incorrect kit, blue
shorts, black socks with white hoops, Manchester Utd socks have all been worn this season.
Please can managers ensure their players are taking to the pitch in the correct strip.

Anyone that will need a new Club Kit for the 09/10 season, please contact Alan Fountain for details as
there is a four week manufacturing time but this will increase through out the summer months.
